
Parley Gets Oilers second league honor in two days

The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Tulsa goaltender Davis Parley has been voted the winner of the CHL Performance of the Week for the week ending February 8th. Parley won the award for his 41-save effort in the Oilers 2-1 win versus the Northern Conference leading Colorado Eagles on February 3rd.
Parley earned 4,076 votes in the weekly poll accounting for 71% of the 5,763 votes cast. Finishing in second place was Mississippi's Darrell Stoddard who scored four goals in the third period of the RiverKings 9-2 win versus Wichita on February 3rd.
Parley joined the Oilers mid-way through the season and has posted a 4-6-2 record with a .904 save percentage. He has earned points in five of his last eight decisions (4-3-1).

_*-Tulsa's Jeff Christian scoring five points (2-3=5) in 6-0 win at Wichita on Feb. 14th
-RGV's Jesse Bennefield's Gordie Howe hat trick in the Bees 5-4 win at Laredo on Feb. 10th
-Colorado's 5 for 9 power play effort in their 5-3 win vs. Arizona on Feb. 11th
-Corpus Christi's Chris Richard's scoring 700th CHL point with GWG in 3-2 win vs. RGV on Feb. 13th
New Mexico's Kyle McNulty making 29 saves in 5-0 shutout win vs. Odessa on Feb. 11th
Fans can vote for the winner through Monday, February 23rd with the winner being announced on Tuesday, February 24th.
Parley and the rest of the Oilers host the expansion Rapid City Rush Friday and Saturday at the BOK Center with each game starting at 7:35 p.m.
Friday night, the first 750 fans will receive a free hat courtesy of
Bud Light, and Saturday the Oilers will wear special retro jerseys,
