Park City Rangers Top Pratt Drillers

WICHITA, KS- The Park City Rangers shut out the Pratt Drillers 7-0 tonight in a special NBC Showcase game at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

Pitcher Wade Morrison earned the victory for Park City, as the Rangers held Pratt to just three hits. Justin Kemp, a catcher for Wichita State University, hit a home run for Park City. The Rangers blew open a close game with four runs in the seventh inning.

The 74th annual National Baseball Congress World Series will take place from August 1-15 at L-D Stadium. The Wichita Wingnuts, meanwhile, return home on Monday to host the Sioux Falls Canaries, beginning a seven-game home stand.
