
Panthers Sign F Ryan Carter

SUNRSISE, FLA - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with F Ryan Carter on a one-year, two way contract.
Carter, 27, played in 12 games with Florida last season recording three points (2-1-3) and 22 PIM. He was acquired from the Carolina Hurricanes on Feb. 24, along with a fifth round draft pick in the 2011 National Hockey League Entry draft in exchange for F Cory Stillman.
For his career in the NHL, Carter has played in 182 games for Anaheim (2007-11), Carolina (2010-11) and Florida (2011) scoring 14 goals with 21 assists and 185 PIM. The White Bear Lake, MN native has appeared in 20 post season contests, all with Anaheim registering five points (2-3-5) and six PIM.
