
Panthers Recall Stewart For Fifth Time

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Americans General Manager Jody Gage announced today that the Florida Panthers have recalled right wing Anthony Stewart. The recall is Stewart's fifth this season and third this month.
Stewart heads back to the National Hockey League for the second time in a week after being returned to Rochester on Sunday prior to the NHL Christmas roster freeze.
The LaSalle, Quebec, native has appeared in 13 games this season with the Panthers, registering a plus-one rating. In 19 games with Rochester, the 22-year-old right wing has eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points.
Stewart will join the team this afternoon in Atlanta and is eligible to play this evening when the Panthers take on the Atlanta Thrashers at 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Arena. The game can be seen live on FSN-Florida or heard on the radio at 790AM The Ticket.
The Amerks stay home to face the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday, December 28th at The Blue Cross Arena. The 7:35 p.m. contest will be broadcast live on Hot Talk 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and B2 Networks, and will also be televised live on Time Warner SportsNet Channel 26. Friday's game will feature live pregame music in The Blue Cross Arena lobby by The Gregory Street Blues Band. The band will begin playing at 6:00 p.m.
Fans can show their college ID at the Box Office and receive a $16.00 ticket for $10.00 or a $12.00 for just $8.00. All Rochester area school children, teachers, school employees, administrators and all families can purchase specially priced tickets for this game. Also, discounted tickets can be purchased for this game at any Wegman's location for $14.00 (regular $21.00).
