Connecticut Sun News Release

Connecticut Sun veteran forward Wendy Palmer-Daniel underwent surgery this morning at Duke University Medical Center to repair a tear of the labrum in her right shoulder. The injury was suffered in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals at Seattle on Oct. 10th. The surgery was done at Duke to facilitate care and rehabilitation, because of it's proximity to Palmer's off-season home in North Carolina. Rehab will take between three and four months, and Palmer-Daniel is expected to be ready to go next season.
