Pair of Outfielders Return to Redwolves

The RedWolves will be returning two outfielders from the 2010 team. Shane Brown a 5-11, 160-pound RS.-Jr. from the Charlotte 49er's will be back for his second summer with the team. Austin Smetana a 6-0, 205-pound Jr. from Francis Marion will be returning for his fourth season with the RedWolves. "Brown was shaping up to be a great player for us last season both offensively and defensively when an injury forced him out about mid season, we hope that he can pick up where he left off and help us reach our championship goal this season". "Smetana has been a great player for us as well and we are proud to have him back again this summer. You don't see very many players that have the opportunity to play for 4 summers, much less with the same team. We appreciate the fact that Austin has wanted to stay with his home town team we hope that we can win it all this summer with him on our roster".
Shane is a speedy outfielder from Charlotte. He can really hit and is a threat on the base paths. I look for Shane to be a mainstay in our outfield and hit at the top of our order this summer.
Austin is your ultimate team player. He plays a solid outfield and has a good idea what he is doing offensively. He is a big, strong kid who has tremendous power.
I'm really excited that I had an opportunity to bring both guys back to Florence this summer.
