P-Nats Set to Host Washington Wizards Night

Woodbridge, VA - The Potomac Nationals are set to host Washington Wizards Night with Washington greats Phil Chenier and Harvey Grant on Friday, July 28th at Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium. The duo will sign autographs for fans as part of the 2018 Legends Autograph Series, presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union. Also on Friday night, the first 1,000 fans to the ballpark will receive an Anthony Rendon "Hat Hair" giveaway, presented by PMSI. First pitch between the P-Nats and Buies Creek Astros (Houston) is set for 7:05pm, while gates will open to the ballpark at 6:00pm.
The autograph signing and meet and greet with Phil Chenier and Harvey Grant will highlight Washington Wizards Night. The signing is free to fans on a first-come, first served basis, with the line set to begin as soon as gates open. Both Washington stars will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and be available to take pictures with fans!
As part of Washington Wizards night, any fan who wears Wizards gear to the ballpark can purchase a grandstand ticket for jut $5, while any fan who arrives in a Phil Chenier or Harvey Grant jersey will receive a free grandstand ticket.
Friday night, the basketball shooting game in the Kids Zone will be discounted and include special prizes throughout the game! The P-Nats will also host Wizards trivia on the video board during the night.
Members from the Washington Wizards will have a table down in the concourse for fans.
Friday night is also the kickoff to "Wild Hair Weekend" at Northwest Federal Field. The P-Nats will begin the weekend with an Anthony Rendon "Hat Hair" giveaway to the first 1,000 fans to the ballpark. The hat, which comes with hair to make each fan look like the Washington Nationals third baseman did when he sported long locks in 2017, is presented by PMSI.
Any fan who comes out to Northwest Federal Field on Friday night with a mullet can purchase a grandstand ticket for just $5!
"Wild Hair Weekend" will continue on Saturday, July 29th with the Bryce Harper "Real Slicked Back Hair" bobblehead giveaway, presented by Burke & Herbert Bank, as part of Grease 40th Anniversary Night. "Wild Hair Weekend" will conclude on Sunday, July 30th with Potomac's annual Bark in the Park Day!
After the conclusion of Friday night's game, fans can watch the best fireworks show in the area, presented by WTOP and Northwest Federal Credit Union.
Following the fireworks, kids can participate in Kids Run the Bases, presented by Glory Days Grill.
Friday night is another opportunity for fans to take advantage of the P-Nats' 4x4 Friday Family Packs! For just $44, fans will receive four reserved section tickets, four regular hot dogs, four 22oz sodas, and four adjustable Potomac Nationals hats. This package is valued at $112, a 60% savings from the regular price!
First pitch between the P-Nats and the Astros is at 7:05pm. Gates to the ballpark will open at 6:00pm.
