(WOODBRIDGE, VA) The Potomac Nationals were rained out on Opening Day. They will get their Carolina League title defense underway Saturday night at 6:35 P.M. at Pfitzner Stadium. Heavy rain throughout the evening forced postponement of the year ¬â¢s opening contest.
Fans in possession of tickets for Opening Day can redeem them for another 2011 contest. To exchange, contact the Nationals ¬â¢ ticket office at 703-590-2311.
Pregame festivities will get underway at 6 P.M.; the Nats will raise their championship flag before the ballgame, commemorate their 2011 title and introduce the 2011 ballclub. As on every Saturday throughout the year, there will be a Fireworks Extravaganza following the Saturday night ballgame. There are a few seats available, so call now and reserve your tickets to Opening Day ¬" one day late!
