Keys and Sox Rained out on Opening Night

Opening Day 2011 will have to wait one more day. The rain came down hard on Friday night at Lewis Gale Field at Salem Memorial Ballpark and the Keys and Red Sox were postponed. The Keys 2010 season opener was rained out last year in Lynchburg, VA.
Frederick and Salem will start up the 2011 campaign with a doubleheader on Saturday night. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 5 p.m. in Salem, VA. RHP Ryan O'Shea is expected to start game one while RHP Oliver Drake will get the nod for game two. Salem will toss LHP Drake Britton in game one and follow up with RHP Pete Ruiz. Both games will be seven-inning affairs.
Opening Night at Harry Grove Stadium is Tuesday, April 12. It will be "Save Your Keys" Night at the ballpark and every fan in attendance will receive a Save Your Keys t-shirt. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. and gates will open at 6 p.m.
