P-Bruins Announce Initial Training Camp Roster

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins have announced the team's initial roster for 2016 Training Camp, which begins today, October 3, at RI Sports Center in Smithfield, RI. The roster consists of 30 players, including 17 forwards, ten defensemen and three goaltenders.

Highlighting how the roster was constructed are nine players assigned by the Boston Bruins to the Providence Bruins-forwards Anton Blidh, Colby Cave, Peter Cehlarik, Colton Hargrove and Justin Hickman, defensemen Linus Arnesson and Matt Grzelcyk, and goaltenders Zane McIntyre and Dan Vladar. Six players were released from Boston Training Camp and will join Providence Training Camp- forwards Mark Naclerio and A.J. White, defensemen Josh Atkinson, Chris Breen and Alex Roach, and goaltender Matt Ginn.Three players were placed on waivers by the Boston Bruins for the purpose of reassignment - defensemen Chris Casto, Tommy Cross and Alex Grant.
