Owlz Sign Right-Handed Pitcher Reid Johnson for 2024 Season

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Northern Colorado Owlz have signed right-handed pitcher Reid Johnson for the 2024 season.
"Being here, where I grew up, it's a huge deal to me," Johnson said.
The only Coloradan on the 2024 Owlz roster, Johnson played at Frederick High School before moving on to a pandemic-shortened season at Salt Lake Community College.
He then started his professional career in the Pioneer League in 2022, spending time with both the Glacier Range Riders and Boise Hawks.
Injuries kept Johnson out of game action in 2023, but he was selected by the Owlz after the Pioneer League's midseason tryout camp in July.
"He's stayed with it, and he's ready to compete for a job with our pitching staff," Owlz manager Frank Gonzales said.
