Owlz Sign Infielder David Rivera for 2025 Season

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Northern Colorado Owlz have signed infielder David Rivera for the 2025 season.
Rivera made his professional debut last season with the Grand Junction Jackalopes in the Pioneer League, hitting .327/.388/.509 with seven home runs and 32 RBI in 54 games.
He played collegiately at Hope International University, helping the Royals to the NAIA national championship in 2024, hitting a home run in the national championship game.
In his three years of college ball he hit .389/.453/.655 in 156 games with 35 home runs and 150 RBI.
"I'm looking forward to joining the Owlzbecause it's a fresh opportunity to grow, compete, and be part of something bigger than myself," Rivera said. "I'm excited to bring my energy, learn from new teammates, and chase success together."
