Outriders host car wash

Calgary Stampeders News Release


(Calgary) – Tomorrow, June 11th the Q107 Outriders will be holding their first annual car wash from 11 am – 3 pm. The Stampeder cheerleaders will be washing cars at Shawnessy Extreme Pit, 296 Shawville Blvd. SE.

Q107 Classic Rock will be on location with a 2005 Mazda RX8 courtesy of Kramer Mazda.

Funds raised will go to the Q107 Outriders for their trip to Grey Cup in Vancouver this November.

The Outriders bring vibrant, powerful entertainment to the football field in front of thousands of fans. The team consists of 30 women who represent Calgary and Southern Alberta, ranging from 18-30 years of age.

The Q107 Outriders Dance and Cheer Team perform at all Stampeder home games at McMahon Stadium. They will also travel to the 93RD Annual Grey Cup held in Vancouver on November 27, 2005.

Also of note the Stampeder Outriders are currently in the process of developing this year's calendar. The last calendar shoot is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15th at McMahon Stadium. Any media interested in getting a behind the scenes look please contact Kelsey Goldade directly 205-8236.
