**The Bees:** Since June 1, Jon Griffin has been on an absolute tear. In 29 games since that date, the Bees' first baseman has hit .431 (44-102) with three home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored, lifting his batting average 115 points since that point (.185 to .300).
**The Opposition:** Infielder Luis Hernandez is working on a ten-game hitting streak entering play tonight, which he extended last night thanks to a 2-4 night against the Bees. A veteran of 14 professional seasons, Hernandez is hitting .426 (20-47) with five RBIs and six runs scored during the streak.
**Starters**
New Britain- LHP Josh Outman (3-3, 4.23) | Bridgeport- RHP D.J. Mitchell (2-1, 2.91)
**Key to the Game - Lather. Rinse. Don't Repeat:**In his last start against the Bluefish, Josh Outman had a game to forget as he allowed 11 runs on 13 hits in just 3.1 innings of work on June 12. Since that start, however, the veteran left-hander has spun off four great starts, including tossing a complete game in his last outing. For the Bees to win their second straight vs. the Bluefish, they'll need Outman to be much closer to the version that has been dominant over his last four starts.
