
Outlaws Rally from Four-Goal Deficit in Fourth Quarter to Beat Chesapeake BayHawks and Improve to 5-1 on the Season

DENVER - The Denver Outlaws (5-1) defeated the Chesapeake Bayhawks (2-2) 14-13 on Thursday night at Broncos Stadium at Mile High in front of 26,210 fans. Denver trailed 13-9 early in the fourth quarter and scored the final five goals of the game to improve to 5-1 on the season and remain atop the league standings.
Midfielder Zach Currier (4 goals, 1 assist) and attackman Chris Aslanian (2 goals, 3 assists) led the Outlaws with five points apiece. Faceoff specialist Max Adler won a career-high 74.2 percent of faceoffs (23-of-31) and tied his career best with 13 ground balls.
Faceoff for Thursday's game was delayed by 75 minutes due to lightning and two subsequent weather delays pushed the total game length to 3:06.
Denver will be back at home next Thursday for a noon faceoff against the Atlanta Blaze. The game marks the Outlaws' annual Camp Day in which the team invites kid's day camps from around the state for a weekday matinee game.
