Otters Trim Training Camp Roster to 41

Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie Otters have released 19 players from their training camp roster and will be returned to their respective teams' rosters.

Nine of the cuts made were members of Erie's 2019 OHL Priority Selection class, including: Forbes Andersen, Ryan Forberg, Owain Johnston, Joshua Reilly, Ethan Schoonderbeek and Bryce Walcarius (U18 Priority Selection), Benjamin West. Two of the releases were from Erie's 2018 Priority Selection Class with Aidan Flynn and Justin Mauro released from camp.

The remaining ten players released were free agent invites to training camp: Ethan Allair, Jordan Broome, Joseph Forster, Kieran Flynn, Joseph Martino, JP Moreira, Jacob Seyers, Cameron Shepheard, Jacob Traynor, and Colin West.

The remaining players at Erie Otters training camp will be divided into two teams for the annual Gold vs. Navy scrimmages, which will be held at the Erie Insurance Arena Tuesday, August 27th at 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday, August 28th at 10:30 a.m. All scrimmages are free and open to the public. The Otters will kick off their preseason schedule with two exhibition games over Labor Day weekend at the Erie Insurance Arena. The team will host the Hamilton Bulldogs over the weekend starting Saturday, August 31st at 7 p.m. and then again Sunday, September 1st at 2 p.m. Fans can purchase a weekend pass good for both games starting at $15 for adults and $10 for children (ages 12 and under), with individual exhibition game prices starting at $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Single game tickets for the 2019-20 season are on sale now.
