June 28, 2007 - Frontier League (FL)
Evansville Otters News Release
June 28th Evansville, IN - For the second time in as many days, the Otters fall in a pitcher's duel by the final score of 2-1. Matt Restivo threw 7 1/3 strong innings of baseball before giving up a two run triple in the 7th, which proved to be all the offense that the Grizzlies needed.
The Otters managed only two hits off opposing starter Nathan Roush, who threw 8 innings, striking out four, while issuing only one free pass.
The lone Otter run came off of the bat of Justin Carr who got his first professional RBI on an infield single in the 4th. The Otters return to action tomorrow night at Bosse Field in the second game of a four game series with Gateway. Game time is 7:05.
