
Otters Orientation Camp Scheduled for May 12-13th

Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie Otters Hockey Club announced today the schedule for their yearly Orientation Camp, which will be held Saturday, May 12th and Sunday, May 13th at Mercyhurst Ice Center.
The weekend will include fitness testing, on-ice development, and scrimmages with members of the Erie Otters 2018 OHL Priority Selection class, Under-18 Priority Selection, as well as members from previous OHL Priority Selections. The invitees and their families will be given tours of the Erie Otters facilities inside the Erie Insurance Arena and the city of Erie.
Players attending will be divided up into two teams, Team Blue and Team Gold. Each will have on-ice sessions with the Otters hockey staff at Mercyhurst Ice Center throughout the weekend. The two teams will face-off in an inter-squad scrimmage Sunday morning. The members of each team will be announced during the camp.
The on-ice schedule is as follows:
Saturday, May 12
Sunday, May 13
Team Gold Practice 9-10 AM
Blue vs. Gold Scrimmage 10 AM-12 PM
Team Blue Practice 10-11 AM
Goalie Practice 11 AM-12 PM
Full Practice 5-6 PM
All on-ice activity at Mercyhurst Ice Center will be open to the media and public. Players and members of the Erie Otters hockey staff will be available to the media following each on ice segment per request.
