
Otters efforts not enough

Erie Otters News Release
The London Knights scored three times in the opening 11 minutes of the second period to reverse a 2-0 deficit on their way to a 3-2 win over the Erie Otters in an Ontario Hockey League game played tonight in front of 4,492 at the Tullio Arena. Trevor Kell, Rob Schremp and Dylan Hunter scored for the Knights, who won for the second straight time to improve to 15-5-0-2 on the season. Vince Scott and Mike Blunden accounted for the Otters goals giving Erie a 2-0 lead after one. The Otters lost for the fifth straight time to sink to 10-10-3 on the season. Blunden had a chance to tie the game early in the third but was stopped on a penalty shot by London goalie Adam Dennis. The Otters out shot the Knights 38-22 in the game as Josh Disher took the loss. The three stars of the game were 1. Dennis; 2. Blunden and 3. Hunter.
The Otters return to action Thursday in the annual Thanksgiving game at the Tullio Arena. The Belleville Bulls provide the opposition in the 7:30 p.m. start. Tickets for the game are available at all Erie-area TicketMaster locations as well as the Erie Civic Center Box Office. The game can be heard live on SportsRadio 1330 The FAN and on-line at www.ottershockey.com (presented by the James H. Cross Company). Hamot Hockey Night begins with the pre-game show at 7:15 p.m.
