Ottawa Assigns Left Wing Nick Foligno To Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators assigned today left wing Nick Foligno to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Foligno was recalled by the Senators for the third time this season on Jan. 29. During his most recent recall, he scored once and added an assist while collecting four penalty minutes in six games. In 37 total games with the Senators this season, he has recorded six goals, three assists, 16 penalty minutes and a +1 rating.

In 17 games with the B-Sens, the 19-year-old has one goal, nine assists, 10 penalty minutes and a +1 rating. He was Ottawa's first-round pick, 28th overall, in the 2006 NHL entry draft.
