Ottawa 67's News Release
What a great game by our boys tonight! The game began with a powerplay goal by Tyler Cuma which was followed by a goal by the Generals, ending the period tied at one. In the second period, there were goals by Jon Carneval, Cody Ceci and two by Tyler Toffoli. We ended off the game with a goal by Tyler Toffoli who scored his hat-trick goal to make the final 6-3 for our Ottawa 67's!
Last night's game against the Oshawa Generals was a great one, with 9,862 fans in attendance, another sellout!
Before the game we paid tribute to the 28,000 minor hockey players in the Ottawa Region. We were joined by Louise Groulx, who was honoured last Spring by the Hockey Hall of Fame for 30-years of dedication to the game as well as Todd Snooks, owner of Broadway Bar and Grill who provided 4,000 67s baberpole toques which were given our at the game.
During the first intermission we had the Rogers fastest skater challenge. Our competitors were six players from the Cumberland Novice "B" Firepucks hockey team. Boy, those kids are fast!
During the second intermission, we were joined by Karen Vinczeffy from Welch LLP as well as our team academic advisors, Teresa Kelly and Mary Kelso. Every month our friends at Welch LLP honour a 67s player for his scholastic achievements by presenting a bursary, this month's winner is Ryan Haynes. Congratulations Ryan!

Keep dancing Daegan!
Last night's season ticket holder of the game was Denise. Denise loves coming to the games with her son to cheer on her favourite player, Tyler Cuma. She loves being part of the best fanbase in junior hockey and is looking forward to our teams next win
Keep on cheering Denise!
Our group of the game was the Eastern Region Ringette Association. There were over 2,300 players, parents and coaches in attendance last night and they really rocked the house!
Thanks for coming out guys!
Our player profile is No. 16, Tyler Toffoli. Tyler had a great game last night scoring three goals and adding two assist for a five point game. Tyler's hobbies include playing X-box and studying for his business class.
Great game Tyler!
