OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's are ready to get back on the ice and begin preparations for the next season of Major Junior hockey in the capital.
Rested and raring to go following one of the best 67's campaigns in the storied history of the franchise, the Barber Poles officially open their 2019 training camp on Monday, August 26.
Medicals, fitness testing and a player welcome dinner (August 26) will kick-off the week, with the on-ice schedule as follows:
Tuesday, August 27 - Red vs White Games
8 a.m. and 1 p.m., Minto Sports Complex, University of Ottawa
Media availability: Following each game
Wednesday, August 28 - 3 vs. 3 tournament
Games at 8:30 a.m, 9:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and finals at 3 p.m.
Minto Sports Complex, University of Ottawa
Media availability: following each game
Thursday, August 29 - Morning Skate at Minto Sports Complex (University of Ottawa) / Departure to Rockland for Exhibition Game #1
The 67's will open their regular season schedule in Guelph on September 20 before kicking off their home schedule on Sunday, September 29 at The Arena at TD Place.
