
Ottawa 67s and Rogers Television Launch Webcast

Beginning this Friday night, March 5th, as the Ottawa 67's take on the Belleville Bulls at the Civic Centre, hockey fans from around the world will be able to watch the Ottawa 67's in action on the Internet.
Every Ottawa 67's game broadcast on Rogers Television Cable 22 during the 2003-04 regular season and playoffs will also be webcast live on the web. The webcast is presented in partnership with Rogers Television Cable 22 and xstream webcasting, an Ottawa digital media firm.
To access the webcast, fans can visit the Ottawa 67's web site at www.ottawa67s.com, and click on the "webcast" button on the main page. Each webcast will start at the scheduled gametime.
"It's another way for Ottawa 67's fans to keep track of their favourite junior hockey team," said Jeff Hunt, Owner and Governor of the Ottawa 67's. "We also think this will be a great feature for the player's families as well as for snowbirds who can't watch the games in person."
"Rogers Television-Cable 22 is proud of our TV coverage of the Ottawa 67's and pleased to extend the viewership to fans via the Internet when they can't watch it on cable from home," said Ray Skaff, Program manager of Rogers Television Cable 22.
