MISSOULA, MONT - Jake Lamb tripled home the game-tying run in the 11th inning and doubled home the game-winning run with one out in the bottom of the 13th inning as the Missoula Osprey knocked off the Great Falls Voyagers, 6-5, in the Home Opener for the Osprey at Ogren Park Allegiance Field.

The 2,716 fans who witnessed it saw the Osprey take a 4-1 lead, only to have to rally in the 11th inning on a two-out three-bagger by Lamb which tied the score at 5-all. Lamb's game-winning double plated Pedro Ruiz - who scored the 11th inning tally - with the game-winning run.

The game featured 27 hits, 31 runners left on base, seven errors and a total of 10 pitchers used between the two clubs. Missoula managed to get nine of its 13 hits from the top four places in their batting order - Ruiz (2 hits, 2 runs scored), Socrates Brito and Breland Almadova (3-for-4, RBI) joined Lamb with multi-hit games. Justin Bianco added two hits for the Osprey.

Patrick Smith (1-0) pitched the final three innings, allowing just one run while dancing out of trouble in each inning of work, to get the win on the hill. Smith was the last of five Osprey pitchers in the game, none of which worked more than three innings. Missoula reliever Justin Thompson was the most effective arm for either squad, scattering two hits and striking out two batters in two innings of work in which he did not allow a run - the only pitcher to make that claim on Friday.

The Osprey and Voyagers continue their three-game series on Saturday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. The Osprey will send Ross Gerdeman to the mound, while the Voyagers will counter with right-hander Keegan Linza.

Tickets are available now at the MSO Hub Box Office, located at 140 North Higgins in Downtown Missoula, online at MissoulaOsprey.com and by phone (406) 543-3300.
