
Osprey Open 5-Game Homestand on Wednesday

MISSOULA, MONT. - The Missoula Osprey return home for a five-game homestand beginning Wednesday, August 3, which will feature a pair of giveaways including an annual staple in t-shirts and a new, unique replica Osprey home jersey pillow you can rest your head upon.
The Osprey will be giving away a replica jersey pillow to the first 750 fans before Friday's home game against the Billings Mustangs. The travel size pillow includes a replica Osprey jersey on the pillow, sponsored by Mountain Valley Inn and ABC 23.1.
Friday is also the next Fly Away Friday, with all Osprey fans ages 18 and over having the opportunity to enter and win round-trip airfare from Missoula to Las Vegas, Phoenix and Los Angeles, courtesy of Allegiant Air and Mountain FM. Gates will open at 6:30, with the first pitch against the Mustangs slated for 7:05.
On Saturday, in the opener of a two-game series with the Helena Brewers, the first 750 fans will receive an Osprey t-shirt, sponsored by Missoula Federal Credit Union and KPAX-TV. The giveaway is part of a busy Saturday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field.
The Missoula Independent sponsors the Saturday Pre-Game Concert Series, which features artists from different genres performing before the game. This week, Box Elder will be playing on the stage atop the first-base dugout. Your ticket to the game also gets you in for the concert, which will begin at 5:45 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 on Saturday, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05.
The ever-popular Launch-A-Ball will also take place on Saturday, with more prizes, as well as another pair of 2012 Osprey season tickets and cash will be on the line.
In the opener of the homestand, on Wednesday against the Billings Mustangs, it's a Senior Wednesday, featuring 2-for-1 Tickets for Seniors ages 55 and older with proper ID, sponsored by Fire Ready Montana. Plus, the ever-popular promotion by the Osprey, Game Show Night, returns for more fun. Don't forget, it's also Bang For Your Buck Night, with food specials to stretch your dollars throughout the game, sponsored by 96.3 The Blaze. Gates will open on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05.
Thursday marks the next KettleHouse Brewery $10K Thursday. Each and every Thursday home game, Osprey fans will have the chance to leave the stadium $10,000 richer. That's right, every inning, one lucky contestant will be drawn and if a specific baseball situation occurs, then that fan will win $10,000. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m., with the first pitch between the Osprey and Mustangs scheduled for 7:05.
In the homestand finale with the Brewers on Sunday, it will be Kid's Day and Kid's Club Membership Day, beginning with the first pitch at 5 p.m. The day's events will be centered around the kids, including some of the ballpark music, as well as additional fun activities throughout the game. Also, kids can take their parents onto the Ogren Park Allegiance Field playing surface and "have a catch", after running around the bases following the game. All of the day's activities are sponsored by Kumon Learning Center and First Choice Medical Clinic. Gates on Sunday will open at 4:30.
