Missoula PaddleHeads News Release

MISSOULA, MONT. - The Missoula Osprey continue their battle with the Great Falls Voyagers for first place in the Pioneer League's North Division beginning Tuesday as the teams will meet up for a three-game series at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. There will also be plenty of chances for fans to stretch their dollars, as well as enjoy some game-show nostalgia and get a chance to win $10,000 during the brief three-game homestand.

The first-half champion Voyagers are currently tied with the Osprey at the top of the North Division standings in the second half of the season. The Osprey have won seven of the prior 11 games played between the two teams, including two of three at home during the first half.

Tuesday's opener has the potential to be a strong pitching matchup, as the Osprey will start right-hander Charles Brewer (6-1, 3.28 ERA), who will try to become the Pioneer League's first seven-game winner, against Voyagers' right-hander Terry Doyle (4-1, 3.76). Doyle struck out 14 Osprey in a seven-inning performance in the Voyagers' lone win here this season back on July 3.

Seniors 55+ can buy tickets 2-for-1 with identification. The Osprey and Voyagers will get started at 7:05 with the first pitch, and gates will open at 6 p.m.

The Osprey will start right-hander Chase Anderson (3-0, 2.25), who will be making his first start of the season, opposite Voyagers right-hander J.R. Ballinger (1-0, 3.81).

In the series finale with the Voyagers on Thursday, it will be another chance for fans to win big on $10,000 Thursday sponsored by Treasure State Bank. Each and every Thursday home game, Osprey fans will have the chance to leave the stadium $10,000 richer. That's right, every inning, one lucky contestant will be drawn and if a specific baseball situation occurs, then that fan will win $10,000. Gates will open at 6 p.m.

On the mound, the Osprey will send out right-hander Enrique Burgos (3-3, 8.06), who picked up a win in his most recent start on Friday at Ogden, against Voyagers right-hander Joucer Martinez (3-2, 2.94)
