Ottawa 67's News Release
OTTAWA - After donating their time and muscle to the flood relief efforts in Constance Bay last week, the Ottawa 67's are now stepping up financially through a historic 50/50 draw on Thursday night.
For the first time ever, the OSEG Foundation will be selling 50/50 tickets at 67's, REDBLACKS and Fury FC games online. The excitement starts with Game 1 of the OHL Final on Thursday, where there will be a guaranteed 50/50 jackpot of at least $20,000. While a lucky winner will be walking away feeling flush, the other half of the 50/50 proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross emergency fundraising campaign to aid with the flood relief efforts.
"Some things are bigger than sports and we really wanted to use all of the excitement and momentum around the Ottawa 67's to help our friends and neighbours who are going through so much right now," said OSEG Foundation Executive Director Janice Barresi. "We're also very excited that one of our great fans will take home more money than has ever been won at a 67's game before."
The 67's will host Games 1 and 2 of the OHL Final at The Arena at TD Place on Thursday, May 2 and Saturday, May 4. Tickets are available here.
