
Orzeck Leads ICE to 6-1 Win in Medicine Hat

Nolan Orzeck had a goal and three assists for his first four point night in the Western Hockey League as the Winnipeg ICE outscored the Medicine Hat Tigers 6-1 Saturday night at Co-Op Place.
Connor McClennon scored twice, including his league leading 25th goal of the season, as the ICE earned five out of a possible six points on a three game road trip.
Alessandro Segafredo and Zach Benson also found the back of the net. Jack Finley added a pair of assists while Gage Alexander made 27 saves.
Winnipeg had a 1-0 lead after the first period and 4-0 advantage through 40 minutes.
Reid Andresen had the lone goal for Medicine Hat. Beckett Langkow stopped 27 of 28 shots.
With 34 games complete, the ICE reach the midway point of the WHL regular season schedule atop of the standings earning 56 of a possible 68 points.
Winnipeg is scheduled to return to action Saturday, January 15th and Sunday, January 16th at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena against the Regina Pats.
