
Orlando Razo Receives NWL Pitcher of the Week

Everett, WA - Orlando Razo has been named the Northwest League Pitcher of the Week for his performance for the week of August 6-12. Razo held the Eugene Emeralds to one hit in his six innings of work on Saturday, August 11.
In his two starts so far in August, Razo is 2-0 while holding opponents to a .171 average.
The UC Davis product was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 16th round in 2017. On the season with bases empty, Razo's ERA is 1.41 with 28 strikeouts. Razo has been a workhorse for the AquaSox as he leads the team with innings pitched at 56.1. He currently is second on the team with 44 strikeouts.
Razo has pitched for the Everett AquaSox, Modesto Nuts and Clinton LumberKings on the season and has 52 combined strikeouts on the year with a 4-4 record.
During his career at UC Davis, Razo pitched 167.0 innings while striking out 131 opponents. In his redshirt junior season, he was twice named Big West Pitcher of the Week, and he struck out a UC Davis single-game record 13 batters in seven innings while allowing just one hit.
