
Orlando City SC Signs Juninho & Javier Otero to Short-Term MLS Agreements

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City SC has signed goalkeeper Javier Otero and midfielder Juninho to short-term agreements from Orlando City B of MLS NEXT Pro, it was announced today. Juninho and Otero are set to be available this weekend as the Lions take on the New England Revolution on Saturday, June 17 in a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
Juninho, 22, has featured 11 times for the young Lions since joining the team at the beginning of the season, all of his appearances starts, while also serving as Orlando City B's captain to this point in the year. The Brazilian midfielder has provided two assists and most recently scored his first goal for OCB in the Club's 4-0 win over FC Cincinnati 2 on June 11.
Otero has defended the OCB posts 12 times so far this season, maintaining three clean sheets and making 36 saves in that span. The Cumana, Venezuela native has also saved two penalty kicks so far this year and was recently called-up to the Venezuelan National Team for its friendlies in the United States. The 22-year-old has made 29 appearances for Orlando City B in his career, including posting 136 total saves and seven shutouts all-time.
