Orlando City B Falls in First Visit to Fort Lauderdale

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Orlando City B (1-5-3, 6 points) fell 2-0 on Saturday night to Fort Lauderdale CF (3-3-2, 11 points) at Inter Miami CF Stadium.

The home side took the early lead in the fifth minute thanks to a curled in effort from Edison Azcona. Fort Lauderdale would go on to double its advantage soon after the halftime break, with a finish from Ricky Lopez-Espin in the 51st minute.

The Lions continue on the road next Saturday, set to visit the Richmond Kickers on Sept. 19 at City Stadium to close out a three-game road trip.
