Statesboro, GA. - Elma Nfor scores his first goal for Union Omaha getting the Owls back on track after a rough 2-0 start at Eagle Field. Daltyn Knutson was able to make the assist with a blocked header leading into the net.

It was a slow start for the Owls taking their first shot on goal 10 minutes into the game. The team was keeping pressure at the top of the field allowing their defense to be more vulnerable in the back. In the 11th minute, Luca Mayr (TRM) took a quick shot scoring his second goal of the season and setting the pace of the first half in Tormenta's favor.

Goalkeeper Rashid Nuhu made a quick dive blocking a shot from Jad Arslan (TRM) in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute, Arslan followed up taking another shot with the ball ricocheting off of the post and hitting Nuhu going into the net with Nuhu scoring an own-goal. This was the seventh own-goal of the league this season. Nuhu was able to bounce back with a huge save in the 59th minute. The Owls then tried to bounce back in the 44nd minute with Evan Conway making a header from Contrera's free-kick. The call was then reversed due to a miscommunication with the initial start of play.

Finally in the 70th minute, Elma Nfor was able to score, getting the Owls' confidence back. With 3 yellow cards given within twelve minutes, the game was escalating and the Owls were desperate to pull out another point. In the 81st minute, Panzani Ferrety Sousa saved the game with a long shot from the inside of the midfield straight into the net. Sousa and the team celebrated with backflips and cheers as the Owls pulled off the comeback that no one was expecting from a brand new first-season team, tying the game and keeping their record undefeated setting a USL League One record.
