
Orlando Battles Florida in Pair of Preseason Contests

Orlando Solar Bears News Release
Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that they will play a pair of preseason games against the Florida Everblades on Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11, 2014. For the third straight year, both games will be played at the Germain Arena, the home of the Everblades, in Estero, Florida.
The Solar Bears and Everblades meet up for the first of the two games at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 10, and play the second of the back-to-back games at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11. Since these two games are exhibition contests, the results of the games will not carry over into the regular season. Fans can tune into both games on iHeartSolarBears.com with a pregame show beginning 15 minutes prior to the drop of the puck. Tickets for the two preseason games will go on sale on at a later date.
The Solar Bears begin the regular season at the Amway Center for the first time in three seasons when they battle the Greenville Road Warriors on Saturday, October 18, at 7:00 p.m.
