
Orioles recall Cabrera

Ottawa - The Orioles recalled starting pitcher Daniel Cabrera yesterday and optioned RHP Winston Abreu to the Lynx.
Abreu did not allow a run in 2.2 innings, spanning two games with the Orioles. He went 8-4 with a 2.98 ERA with the Lynx. Those eight wins are good for a tie for 11th in the International League.
Cabrera went 3-1 with a 4.07 ERA in four starts with the Lynx. He was optioned to Ottawa July 14th after going 4-7 with a 5.25 ERA in 16 starts with Baltimore.
