Orange County Buzz add five to roster

Orange County, CA. Burrel Lee, GM of the ABA Orange County Buzz professional basketball team today announced the signing of five additional players to its team roster, including:
Everett Ratleff, 6'5" G/F, College of Idaho
John Janssen, 6'8" F, Grand Canyon College
Wendell Robinson, 6'8" F, University of California at Irvine
Tyrone Merriweather, 6'6" F, Cal Poly Pomona
Matthew Houser, 6'9 F, Chico State
"This is a very exciting day for us," Lee stated. "Not only did we get great point guard Eric Holmes and amazing shot blocker Keith Closs, but we've added five incredibly solid players to our roster."
Everett Ratleff, who grew up in the City of Compton, attended Long Beach Jordan, graduated and moved on to Long Beach State and finished up at the College of Idaho. Everett is a triple threat; he can shoot the 3, drive to the basket and pass the ball. At 6'5", he excels at 3 spots, from the point, shooting guard and small forward. "I went to high school with Everett and he is just as good now as he was then, but now his range is deadly and his basketball IQ has improved steadily. He will become an instant leader for the Buzz," Lee added.
John Janssen will be the player that the fans love to watch. He is the ultimate hustler, meaning he will guard anyone on the court from a guard to the center. His defense is awesome; it will be surprising if he doesn't lead the ABA in steals. He will scramble and fight for loose balls, dive into the seats and do just about anything to help his team win. He is the Buzz version of what Pete Rose was to MLB.
Tyrone Merriweather is a Mr. Do It All, the Robert Horry of the ABA. At 6'6", with a wing span of a 7-footer, he can play defense on a 7-footer if needed and hold his own. Ty is a vet with some overseas experience and has also previously played in the ABA. Tyrone is also an actor who has appeared in the movie, "Like Mike," starring rapper/actor Bow Wow.
Matt Houser, like Tyrone, is also an actor. He appeared in movies and several commercials. He is a 6'9" player that runs the floor like a guard. He instinctively rebounds and can go baseline to baseline in a full-court press.
