Opening Night Watch Party at Hooters Tonight

It's game day for the Mississippi Surge and party day for their fans who can watch the Surge's opening game at Hooters Biloxi Beach.

The Surge start the season tonight (October 20) in Augusta against the RiverHawks with game time set for 6:35 Central time. Fans can gather and watch the game through the America One video feed which will be on two large television screens at Hooters Biloxi Beach. Fans can also get in on the action and win prizes by guessing the score, shots on goal, penalty minutes and answering trivia questions.

"I know the players are ready for the season to get started, and getting the fans together at Hooters is a great way to get underway," Steve McCall, the Surge's vice-president of communications, said. "The Hooters watch parties certainly add another exciting element to the season."

Tonight starts a three game road trip for the Surge, with all games available for viewing at Hooters Biloxi Beach. Following tonight's game the Surge plays at Knoxville Friday at 6:35 p.m. and in Columbus on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

The Surge's home opener is Friday, October 28th against the Huntsville Havoc at 7:05 p.m. Following the game, there will be trick-or-treating with the Surge players at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
