Potomac Nationals News Release
Opening Day at Pfitzner Stadium has been rained out. Thursday's contest will be suspended until 5:30 p.m. Friday. The Potomac Nationals and Salem Red Sox will complete the Opening Day game and play a second, seven-inning game immediately thereafter. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
The Potomac Nationals trail the Salem Red Sox 1-0 with two out and a runner on first in the top of the second inning.
Friday is Uncle Slam's Reading Program Day at The Pfitz. Students who have completed Uncle Slam's Reading Program may redeem their two free tickets and take part in a pre-game parade around the field!
Tickets for Opening Day may be exchanged for tomorrow's game or any other home game this season, excluding July 4.
