(Central Islip, N.Y.) - The Long Island Ducks today announced that individual tickets for all 2017 home games will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Bethpage Ballpark box office ONLY at that time, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to ensure the best availability.
"Every year, Opening Day of Ticket Sales provides a sign that winter is ending and baseball season is here once again," says Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. "2017 will be no exception, and we can't wait to see our fans back at the ballpark securing their seats for this season."
Fans will be treated to an atmosphere that features fun for everyone on March 18. The Wiseman from WHLI will emcee all of the morning's excitement as the team ushers in its 18th season of play. Baseball legend Bud Harrelson and Ducks manager Kevin Baez will be in attendance to greet fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures. QuackerJack, the seven-time "Best Long Island Mascot," will also be on hand for photo and autograph opportunities. Children will be able to jump around all morning long on the Ducks Bounce House and Duck Tail Inflatable Slide, which will be on the plaza.
Centerplate, the official concessions partner of the Long Island Ducks, will provide complimentary food and beverages for those purchasing tickets to watch the Flock this season. Items include coffee, hot chocolate, bagels, muffins and other delicious treats from many of the team's food partners.
