Vancouver Whitecaps FC News Release
As Ontario provincial champions, the young 'Caps advanced to the annual Quebec-Ontario Cup, winning that championship as well. The tournament, held in Blainville, Quebec, saw the 'Caps Ontario-based academy team win both matches, 2-0 and 4-1 against Quebec U-18 champions Charlesbourg to add to what has already been a very impressive season.
Earlier this month, the young 'Caps captured the Ontario Youth Soccer League (OYSL) U-17 Provincial League Championship. After already becoming OYSL West Champions, they defeated OYSL East Champions Richmond Hill to complete their provincial title.
