Ontario Fury News Release
The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, got two goals apiece from four players as they held on to defeat the Sacramento Surge 8-7 on Sunday at McClellan Park in Sacramento.
Christian Saray, Israel Sesay, Tiguinho and Bernie Lilavois each tallied twice, as the Fury won the second half of their two-game Northern California swing. Ontario was playing shorthanded, as goaltender Ramon Torres was red carded the night before and unavailable due to suspension, and defender Luis Piffer unable to play due to injuries suffered in Turlock.
Saray's goal late in the fourth quarter on the power play turned out to be the game-winner. He tipped home the ball after a scramble in front.
Ontario will return home to Citizens Business Bank Arena on Saturday night for a Pacific Division battle against the Las Vegas Legends. Kickoff for the game will be 7 p.m.
Tickets for the game, which start at $10, are available at the box office or through the Ontario Fury's office at 909-457-0252. Fans can also still purchase the Fury's Holiday Pack plan - which includes tickets for three games (including Saturday's game against Las Vegas) starting at only $15 per seat. Each package also includes the chance to upgrade to glass seats for one game (restrictions apply).
