Emeralds' RF Hunter Bishop drove in the only run of the game on an RBI single to drive in 1B Luis Toribio in the seventh 1-0.
With the combined efforts of Keaton Winn, Nick Morreale, Brooks Crawford and Nick Avila, they would go 9 IP, 6 H, 0 ER, 3 BB and 9 K along with Avila recording his 12th save of the season.
Tomorrow the Emeralds will look to capture their first series lead as they will throw LHP Nick Swiney. First pitch is at 7:05 PM, 6:50 pregame show on 95.3 The Score.
