Toronto FC News Release
What to say?! Words cannot describe how amazing this inaugural season has been. It's safe to say, it has been an incredible ride for us all (from the front office staff, to the players and coaches and to you, the fans!) and we're sad to see the end.
With one game to go for the boys in red, Toronto FC (6-17-6) hosts the New England Revolution (14-8-7) at 12:30 PM. Previous encounters this season have been tough goes, but the home field advantage should prove to be a big boost. There is a lot to be excited about - first overall draft pick Maurice Edu is back, midfield master and team co-captain Carl Robinson returns, Andy Boyens is ready (with 12 stitches) and there is talk of the man himself, Dichio, in uniform...

Toronto FC vs. New England Revolution October 20th, Kickoff at 12:30 PM TV: CBC (LIVE)
The Revolution sit second place in the East and will finish the season in this position regardless of their result on Saturday. With playoffs on the horizon, Head Coach Steve Nicol may consider to strategically rest some key players. One such player may be Taylor Twellman (#20) who will have just returned from U.S. National Team duty in Switzerland. On the field, look for Adam Cristman (#7) to figure in the New England attack and midfielder Andy Doorman (#25) to look for the net, currently leading the team in scoring against TFC with three goals in two games against the Reds.
