Pizza Hut Park, Frisco, Texas - 8:30 p.m.

Complete game guide: http://web.mlsnet.com/pdf/mls/2007/gameguides/10/1020dalkc.pdf

For the third consecutive season, the Kansas City Wizards head into their season finale knowing they must win to reach the MLS Cup Playoffs. This year, what stands between them and a first trip to the postseason since their MLS Cup Final year of 2004 is FC Dallas. The Wizards are tied for seventh place overall with the Chicago Fire, but hold enough tiebreakers to be in with a win - and possibly even with a draw, though that will take help from other results. FC Dallas have a Western Conference Semifinal Series ahead of them against either Houston Dynamo or Chivas USA, depending on their matchup later Saturday in Carson.

- This is the second of two meetings between the Midwestern rivals this season, the only one set for Pizza Hut Park.

- A year ago, the teams split the season series, each winning on their home ground in one-goal games. It was the second consecutive season, since the Wizards moved to the Eastern Conference, that the teams have split their season series, playing to a pair of draws in 2005. The three seasons before that - when the teams met four times in each season - the Wizards won the season set each of those years.

- When Dallas won in Kansas City this year, it was their first since Sept. 18, 1999 (a shootout win), with the Wizards having won six of the 10 contests since at Arrowhead Stadium (with four draws). The last Dallas victory in regulation time came nearly a decade before, a 1-0 Burn victory on Sept. 19, 1998.

Real Salt Lake at Colorado Rapids - FSN Utah, Altitude

Dick's Sporting Goods Park, Commerce City, Colo. - 9 p.m.

Complete game guide: http://web.mlsnet.com/pdf/mls/2007/gameguides/10/1020colrsl.pdf

The Colorado Rapids head into the final match of the season with a chance to reach the MLS Cup Playoffs. Still in ninth place overall, they need a win on Saturday night - and for the results to go the right way in Frisco on Saturday or Bridgeview on Sunday. However, for the Rapids to clinch a spot in the postseason, they will also have to overcome arch-rivals Real Salt Lake - who would love nothing more than a victory in their season finale that would give them the Rocky Mountain Cup, emblematic of bragging rights between the two regional rivals.

- This is the fourth and final meeting between the teams as the Rocky Mountain Cup is again on offer to the winner of the season series. It's even poised for the season finale - each team has won once (splitting the two games in Utah), while they drew in their first Colorado meeting.

- A year ago, the Rapids claimed the Rocky Mountain Cup for the second successive season, getting a pair of 1-0 victories (the only goal coming from Nicolas Hernandez in each) with Real winning once after the teams opened with a draw.

- Colorado also claimed a victory when the teams met in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup at Rice-Eccles Stadium, the lone goal coming from Jacob Peterson (61).

Houston Dynamo at Chivas USA - FSC/FSE

Home Depot Center, Carson, Calif. - 10:30 p.m.

Complete game preview: http://web.mlsnet.com/news/mls_news.jsp?ymd=20071019&content_id=124369&vkey=news_mls&fext=.jsp

The Western Conference regular season title - and home-field advantage in a potential Western Conference Championship for a berth in MLS Cup 2007 - comes down to a winner-take-all matchup at The Home Depot Center. Chivas USA, who have lost just once in a home game in Carson this season, have the inside track, as a draw would also ensure them of the top spot. But Dynamo know the value of having the home field for the one-game conference decider, as they rode that advantage to their MLS Cup victory last season, including a comeback victory against Chivas USA in their Western Conference Semifinal Series.

IN CARSON: (2 meetings): Chivas USA 1 win, 4 goals ...Dynamo 0 wins, 3 goals ... Draws 1

- This is the third and final league meeting between the two teams, their only Home Depot Center meeting. Dynamo won the first two matches this season, both by shutout and both at Robertson Stadium.

- A year ago, the teams evenly split their season series, each winning once at home, while drawing once at each stadium.

- Then, of course, the teams met in a hard-fought Western Conference Semifinal Series - with each team again winning on their home ground. Chivas claimed a 2-1 first leg victory at The Home Depot Center as goalkeeper Brad Guzan saved a penalty to ensure the win (Razov 45, Palencia 68 - Ching 75), then Dynamo won 2-0 at Robertson Stadium a week later (Davis 64 pen, Ching 93+), to advance 3-2 on aggregate on their way to winning MLS Cup.
