
Omaha Nighthawks And Boy Scouts Of America Host Scout Night At November 19 Game

OMAHA, NE - Tuesday, November 16 - The Omaha Nighthawks are proud to partner with the Mid-America Council, Boy Scouts of America for the final Nighthawks' home game at Rosenblatt Stadium on Friday, November 19. Over 1,500 Scouts from Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota will spend Friday evening at Rosenblatt Stadium to cheer on the home team Nighthawks. The Scouts will help with pre game activities, be recognized during game time promotions and receive autographs following the game.
"We have partnered with many sports team in the area, but have never had the response that we have had with the Nighthawks, " said Scott Seibert, Director of Support Service for the Boy Scouts. "We knew our Scout Night would be popular with the Nighthawks, but we had no idea we would sell out of our allotment of tickets in such a short amount of time!"
Shortly after announcing the 2010 Omaha expansion team, the Nighthawks partnered with the Boy Scouts as a Council Sponsor, donating $10,000 to help defray Scouting costs for the Scoutreach programs.

The Boy Scouts, Mid-America Council serves 30,972 youth in 58 counties in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.
