THE MATCHUP

Florida enters Friday's contest with everything to play for, while the Omaha Nighthawks are playing to thank their fans for tremendous support all season in addition to raising money for the Wounded Warrior Family Support and the ConAgra fight to end child hunger. The Tuskers, at 4-3, can clinch a spot in the UFL Championship Game with a win. With a Florida loss, the Sacramento Mountain Lions would win the three-team tiebreaker at 4-4 and would take on the Las Vegas Locomotives in the Championship Game on November 27 at Rosenblatt Stadium.

Omaha saw its chances at appearing in the Championship Game slip away after a 41-3 loss at Sacramento in Week 9. Omaha needed to win its final two games to earn a spot in the Championship Game. Instead, the Nighthawks will take the field for the final time at Rosenblatt Stadium on Friday, and will look to cap the season with a 3-1 record at home.

The final regular season game will have a major impact in the Omaha community. The team will wear camouflage jerseys and the jerseys of Ahman Green, Robert Ferguson, Jeff Garcia and Jay Moore will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior Family Support. The jerseys come thanks to the collaborative effort of the Ahman Green Youth Development Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Family Support.

On Friday, the UFL and the Nighthawks are helping ConAgra Foods with initiatives to help end child by asking fans to donate canned goods. The food drive will include cash collection stations manned by ConAgra Foods volunteers, who will also solicit donations from tailgaters before the game. In addition, there will be an in-stadium information booth for "Shine the Light on Hunger" and opportunities for fans to purchase branded merchandise with proceeds from the sale of the items again benefiting the cause.

Thursday, Nov. 11

Florida 41, Hartford 7

Saturday, Nov. 13

Sacramento 41, Omaha 3

THE SERIES

The Tuskers lead the all-time series 1-0. Florida defeated Omaha, 31-14, on November 5 in Orlando, Fla. Tuskers' quarterback Chris Greisen, making his first career start for the Tuskers, went 23-of-31 for 215 yards and two touchdowns in earning UFL Offensive Player of the Week honors.

THE COACHES

Jeff Jagodzinski (Wisconsin-Whitewater, '85) leads the Nighthawks after guiding Boston College to a 20-8 record and two ACC Championship Game appearances in 2007-08. Jagodzinski has coached in the collegiate and professional ranks for 26 years.

Jay Gruden is in his first year as head coach of the Florida Tuskers. The brother of former Super Bowl Coach Jon Gruden, Jay Gruden is in his 14th year as a professional football coach. Gruden was an offensive coordinator on Jim Haslett's Tuskers staff in 2009. Prior to that, Gruden was an offensive assistant with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2002-08 and also a long-time head coach in the Arena Football League.

UFL REGULAR SEASON SET FOR DRAMATIC ENDING IN WEEK 10

The Sacramento Mountain Lions kept their United Football League Championship Game aspirations alive with a decisive 41-3 victory over the Omaha Nighthawks to trigger a possible three-way tiebreaker for the open berth. The MoLo's wrapped up their regular season with a 4-4 record and will now sit at home during a bye week hoping the team they defeated on Saturday - the Omaha Nighthawks - will knock off the Florida Tuskers in Week 10.That would pave the way for Sacramento to meet the Las Vegas Locos for the 2010 title.Omaha beating Florida next week would force a three-team tie for second place in the final standings with Sacramento, Florida and Omaha all holding a 4-4 record. The first head-to-head tiebreaker taking into account all games between the three teams would see Sacramento emerge victorious. The Mountain Lions would be 3-1 within the group, the Nighthawks 2-2 and the Tuskers 1-3.Still, the Nighthawks intend to sign off in style in front of a fourth consecutive sellout crowd at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha on Friday (live on HDNet, 7.30 p.m. CST)."We prepare every game to win and next week is not going to be any different than how we approached the first game of the season," said Omaha Head Coach Jeff Jagodzinski. "We need to play better as a team and we'll do that next week. "Here's the positive: we've got one more game left and a chance to go back to Omaha to play again in front of the best fans in this league, and I'm sure our guys will give a great showing for those fans."Advancing to the Championship Game would complete an impressive transformation for the Mountain Lions, who were in last place at the mid-season point with a 1-3 record.Led by quarterback Daunte Culpepper, Sacramento has since won three out of four games and lost by a single point in its only second half of the season blemish. All the Florida Tuskers need to do is win or tie against the Nighthawks on November 19 to remain in Omaha and take on the Locos in the Championship Game at 11 a.m. CST on Saturday, November 27 (live on Versus).
