OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Lancers and Lincoln Stars renew the United States Hockey League's (USHL) best rivalry this Saturday evening as the first-place Lancers welcome the Stars to the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Opening face off is set for 7:05 PM.

Omaha (24-7-2, 50 Pts.) enters the weekend atop both the West Division and USHL standings having tallied the most goals (140), assists (225) and points (365) of any team in the league. Meanwhile, Lincoln (9-19-3, 21 Pts.) currently rests at the bottom of the West Division and is tied with Team USA for the lowest standings points total of any team in the USHL. The Stars enter Saturday's action mired in a nine-game winless streak which has seen Lincoln go 0-6-3 during that stretch. Omaha's arch rival began the week on a sour note with its most lopsided loss of the season - an 8-2 defeat at the hands of the Sioux City Musketeers.

Saturday's contest marks the third of five total meetings during the 2009-2010 regular season between Omaha and Lincoln. The Lancers are already 2-0 this season against the Stars following a 3-1 win in Omaha back on October 10th and most recently a 5-4 victory at the Lincoln IceBox last Friday. Omaha's Dakota Eveland and Lincoln's Ben Lynch lead all scorers in the season series with four points apiece. Meanwhile, Lancers' goaltender Jeff Teglia has earned both victories in net for Omaha surrendering just four goals against on 56 total shots while Lincoln's Jared Coreau has been between the pipes for both Stars losses. Following Saturday's contest, the season series shifts back to Lincoln for the final two get-togethers scheduled for Friday, January 22nd and Friday, February 26th.

Saturday's clash is also "White-Out Night" presented by First National Bank. Fans are encouraged to wear white to game in support of the Lancers. Fans are also encouraged to come early for Happy Hour where $1 beers, sodas and hot dogs will be available from 6 PM to puck drop (roughly 7:05 PM).

Tickets are available at the Qwest Center Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and can also be purchased at the Omaha Civic Auditorium Box Office on game day beginning at 10 AM. Finally, tickets are always available through www.ticketmaster.com.
