Ralston, Neb. - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) will head into the Thanksgiving holiday week playing their best hockey of the season.

Omaha (8-9, 16 pts.) enters the week in the midst of a season-high four-game winning streak after completing a weekend sweep in Fargo over the Force. The Lancers earned a 3-2 shootout victory in Fargo on Friday before completing a come-from-behind 4-3 shootout win on Saturday. Jake Randolph registered multi-point efforts in both games tallying a goal and an assist on Friday before notching a pair of assists on Saturday. All told, Omaha has won four straight games while outscoring its opposition 16-7 during that stretch. The Lancers have also won six of their last eight games overall and are 4-2 in the month of November after going a combined 4-7 through the season's first five weeks.

Omaha returns to action tomorrow evening as it kicks off a busy three-game holiday weekend when the team travels to Lincoln to renew its rivalry with the Stars. Lincoln (11-3, 22 pts.) remains just two points back of first-place Waterloo in the Western Conference standings despite having dropped three of its last four games. The Stars suffered a 3-2 loss to league-leading Dubuque in its only game last week. Jarrid Privitera scored twice for the Fighting Saints while Jake Wood and Vinni Lettieri both scored for the Stars in the losing effort. The loss was Lincoln's second straight setback and third defeat in its last four games after starting the season a perfect 10-0. After hosting the Lancers on Wednesday, the Stars are on the road Friday in Chicago and Saturday in Dubuque.

Omaha's three-game week continues Friday as the Lancers wrap up their four-game road swing with a visit to the Viaero Event Center and a meeting with the Tri-City Storm. Tri-City (7-9-1, 15 pts.) is currently tied for sixth in the Western Conference alongside the Des Moines Buccaneers with both teams just one standings point back of the Lancers. The Storm earned back-to-back road victories last weekend with a 5-2 win in Sioux Falls on Friday followed by a 3-2 victory in Des Moines the following evening. Brian Ward registered four points (two goals, two assists) over the weekend extending his scoring streak to four straight games. The two victories snapped a three-game losing skid for Tri-City. The Storm begin their holiday week at home Wednesday versus Sioux City before hosting Omaha and Friday and Des Moines on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the busy holiday week for the Lancers comes to an end Saturday when the team returns home to the Ralston Arena for its first home showdown of the year with the Sioux City Musketeers. Sioux City (3-9-3, 9 pts.) dropped both of its games last weekend suffering a 4-3 loss in Cedar Rapids on Friday before falling in a 3-2 decision in Waterloo on Saturday. The Musketeers enter the week in the midst of a three-game losing skid and have now dropped eight of their last nine overall (1-7-1). Like Omaha, Sioux City begins kicks off its three-game holiday week on the road with stops in Tri-City and Sioux Falls before coming to Omaha.

Omaha Notes:

Omaha Lancers - 8-9-0, 16 pts. (5th Western Conference)

- F Jake Randolph currently leads all Lancers in scoring with 12 points (2 goals, 10 assists). He enters the week tied for 10th among all USHL skaters with 10 assists. Randolph ranks first among all Omaha skaters with four multi-point games this season.

- Randolph and D Matias Cleland are tied for the team lead with seven power play points. Cleland is tied for the USHL lead with seven power play assists.

- F Connor Chatham currently leads all Lancers and is tied for 17th among all USHL skaters with seven goals this season.

- The Lancers enter the week with a six-game winning streak when scoring first. Omaha is 7-2 overall this season when netting the game's first goal.

- Omaha's power play enters the week tied for eighth in the league at 17.5%. The Lancers are 14-for-63 (22.2%) on the man-advantage in 13 road games this season but are 0-for-17 in four games at Ralston Arena.

- Omaha's penalty kill currently ranks fourth overall at 87.9%.

- The Lancers are 6-7 on the road this season and have outscored their opposition 39-38 in 13 prior road contests. Meanwhile, Omaha is 2-2 at Ralston Arena and has been outscored 9-6 in four games at Ralston Arena.

Opponents Notes:

Wednesday, Nov. 21 @ Lincoln - 11-3-0, 22 pts. (2nd Western Conference)

- Wednesday's contest marks the first of 10 meetings between the Lancers and Lincoln Stars during the 2012-2013 regular season.

- Lincoln's roster currently features 12 skaters from last year's team, which produced a 38-18-4 regular season record a season ago while finishing first in the Western Conference.

- F Luke Johnson is the team's leading returning scorer after recording 55 points (20 goals, 35 assists) in 55 games last season.

- F Will Suter currently leads all Stars skaters and is tied for 16th among all USHLers in scoring with 15 points (7 goals, 8 assists).

- G Jackson Teichroeb is tied for second among all USHL netminders with eight wins and ranks third overall in goals-against average (2.31).

- Lincoln enters the week ranked third overall in goals scored per game (3.64) and is presently second overall in goals-against per game (2.21).

- The Stars are 6-2 at home this season and have outscored their opposition 29-18 in eight prior games at the IceBox.

- Lincoln's power play currently ranks 15th overall at 8.3% while its penalty kill is third overall at 88.5%.

Friday, Nov. 23 @ Tri-City - 7-9-1, 15 pts. (T-6th Western Conference)

- Friday's contest marks the fourth of eight total meetings during the 2012-2013 regular season between the Lancers and Tri-City Storm. Omaha is 1-2 against Tri-City this season. The Lancers claimed the first get-together with an 8-3 win at Tri-City on October 19th before suffering a 2-1 setback to the Storm on October 20th followed by a 3-0 shutout at the hands of Tri-City on October 26th.

- F Trevor Moore currently leads all Storm skaters and is tied for ninth in the USHL in scoring with 18 points (8 goals, 10 assists).

- F Brian Ward enters the week in the midst of a four-game scoring streak having notched two goals and five assists over the last four games.

- The Storm are 2-6 at home this season and have been outscored 34-15 in eight prior games at the Viaero Event Center.

- Tri-City's power play currently ranks 14th overall at 8.5% while the Storm's penalty kill is 14th as well at 78.8%. Omaha's power play is 4-for-16 (25%) against Tri-City while the Storm's man-advantage is 0-for-7 against the Lancers.

Saturday, Nov. 24 vs. Sioux City - 3-9-3, 9 pts. (8th Western Conference)

- Saturday's meeting is the second of eight total get-togethers during the 2012-2013 regular season between the Lancers and Sioux City Musketeers. Omaha claimed the first head-to-head match-up with a 3-2 shootout victory in Sioux City back on October 6th.

- F David Goodwin and F Jake Guentzel are currently tied for the team lead in scoring with 12 points each. Goodwin has registered five goals and seven assists to date while Guentzel has notched four goals and eight assists.

- Sioux City is the only remaining USHL team without a road victory. The Musketeers are 0-5-1 on the road this season and have been outscored 24-15 in six prior contests away from the Tyson Events Center.

- Sioux City's power play enters the week tied with Omaha for eighth overall at 17.5% while its penalty kill ranks seventh overall at 85.7%.
