Ice Host Phantoms in Thanksgiving Eve Bout

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Ice kick off another three-game week on Wednesday as they host the Youngstown Phantoms from Pan Am Plaza at 7:05 pm.
Indy is coming off a long stretch of games, finishing with a 2-2-0 record in four contests last week. The Ice topped Chicago 5-2 on Sunday for Military Appreciation Night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse before back-to-back losses against the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Wednesday and Friday. The Icemen capped off the week on Saturday with a 4-2 victory over the reigning Clark Cup Champion Green Bay Gamblers in Wisconsin.
The Ice is 0-1-0 against the Phantoms after falling 6-5 in their lone meeting on Halloween at the Covelli Centre. Drew Smolcynski had a career night during the contest, recording his second USHL hat trick in addition to an assist. Tyler Pham and Robbie Baillargeon both tallied pair of helpers in the contest.
Hockey action wraps up this weekend as Indy starts a six-game road stretch against the Des Moines Buccaneers on Friday at 8:05 pm and the Chicago Steel on Saturday at 8:00 pm. Indy returns to Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Thursday, December 13 for a 7:05 pm faceoff with the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
Single-game tickets start at $11 for Bankers Life Fieldhouse games and general admission tickets for Pan Am Plaza games are $10. There is a $2 discount for children 10 and under and seniors 62 and over.
