Omaha Beef to Play at New Ralston Arena in 2013

Omaha, NE- The Omaha Beef and the City of Ralston have come to an agreement for the team to begin play in the new Ralston Arena starting in 2013. The state of the art arena, located at 72 nd and Q Streets, will hold approximately 3,500 seats and will have 12 luxury suites, digital LED ribbon for added exposure for corporate partners, and two video boards, so fans do not miss any of the action.

"We couldn't be more excited about it," said Josh Roehr, Beef General Manager. "This opens up a whole new set of opportunities for us and for our fans. We are glad to be part of the Ralston community." Ralston Mayor Don Groesser echoed Roehr's comments stating, "We're really looking forward to having the Beef in town."

The Beef have played their previous 12 seasons at the Omaha Civic Auditorium and look forward to kicking off a special farewell season at the Civic this March. "The Civic will always be a special place for us and our fans", said Roehr. "MECA has been fantastic to work with and we look forward to another great season in 2012."

The Beef will open their 2012 season at the Omaha Civic Auditorium on Friday March 2 nd, 2012 at 7:05pm against the Wichita Wild.
