Omaha Beef to Host Fan Fest this Weekend

It is that time again Beef fans. Can you smell the hotdogs? Do you see flashes of orange and black in your dreams? That must mean that the 2009 season is just around the corner. If you are ready to get the action started, please join the Omaha Beef players and staff at the annual Fan Fest this Saturday, March 14th. The event will be held from 3-5pm at Quaker Steak and Lube. Quaker Steak is located at 3320 Mid America Drive in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The 2009 regular season, which will consist of seven home and seven away games, is set to begin a week from this Friday. Kickoff at "the Slaughterhouse" is scheduled for Friday, March 20th at 7:00pm against the Wichita Wild. Can't wait till then? Then come to Fan Fest.
"The entire Beef family is geared up for the new season," said Team President, Dakota Crow. "Everyone is dusting off their orange and black and preparing for a monumental tenth year. This event will be a great way to kick off the season. We are thankful that Quaker Steak and Lube has been gracious enough to provide a wonderful location for us to celebrate in. We hope that all our Beef friends and family join us for a great time."
At the Fan Fest, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to pick up their tickets and meet the 2009 squad. There will be discounts and specials for all fans in attendance. Beef players, coaches, Prime Dancers, Rump Roasters, and staff will all be present to celebrate the oncoming season. We hope to see you there!
The BEEF are celebrating their 10th year of Professional Indoor Football in Omaha, NE. Home games are played March through June. All home games start at 7:00pm at "The Slaughterhouse" - Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Beef are a member of the Indoor Football League, the premier indoor football league in America.
